The heaven I have found–Lang Tengah

No excitement for me before the departure as I was so tired to wake up at 3 something in the morning. However, my excitement was gradually rising because it was my first flight.

You could see the picture below: all of us are dragging tired step towards the the airport.

About an hour later, we arrived in Terengganu Airport. Then, we were heading to the Jetty. Of course, we won’t forget to take some picture while waiting for our ferry.

The so-called small jetty is the place for travellers heading to their hotel–Summer Bay.

Another an hour later, we arrived at our destination. Here is it– Summer Bay in Lang Tengah.

 

Once arriving, I was screaming because I have never seen such a crystal clear sea water as what I have seen in picture. It is so clear until you could see the sand through the water.

You would see there are many sea cucumbers inside the water.

 

 

The most exciting moment was when the boss said that we were the first batch of the travellers in this year and he would like to give us their specially-designed T-Shirt for FREE.

FREE. I like the ‘free’ so much. Thank you Mr. Boss. The T-shirt is so nice. The “S”-sized T-Shirt is so fit me while everyone thought that I should have a M-sized T-Shirt. They were so wrong. Hahahaha….

 

According to the Mr. Boss, it is the emblem of the the resort. They described it as a mooncake. It is really a huge mooncake coral. Please live nicely, I hope you could grow bigger next time I am coming.

Then we kicked off our day with snorkelling. It was so terrifying to snorkel for me as I don’t know how to swim and water is the factor. I never believed that I was floating in the middle of the sea. Fortunately, with the encouragement and guidance of the live guard, eventually I have tackle my fear towards water. Of course, I won’t forget to thank my friends also for lending me a hand when swimming in the water.

You would be surrounded with a group of fishes while snorkelling in water.

Memos and their habitat, sea coral. According to tour guide, the sea coral would take few years just to grow for 1 centimeter long. So, please conserve their habitat.

The turtle. 90% of chances you could view the turtle if you were snorkelling around Pulau Perhentian. I saw 2 turtles in fact others are saying they have seen 3 turtles. Probably as a result of  the refraction of water, I could see it is very very huge under the water. It is as big as me. However, from the picture, it is not as huge as I have seen. I pretty sure it has been living so long in this earth. Maybe he was born before I born. I really have no idea how old is he. It is so blissful to view the turtles under my own eye scene.

Apart from snorkelling, we did jungle trekking also. Tour guide has brought us to a breathtaking place also– the cliff. Unbelievable there is such a nice view in Malaysia.

Good news to couple plan to marry. You could have a marry ceremony here. I bet it would be unforgetten memory for you. Unfortunately, you can’t invite too many people to witness your marry ceremony because of the limited space here.

At night, mini pub in Summer Bay would be a nice hangout  for you. The pub singer there sang very well. Nice songs, freeze sea breeze, nice view, good talk plus good friends. it would be a perfect gateway for your hustle-bustle lifestyle.

During the night, don’t miss the chance to witness blue sand, the beauty of the natural. I have no idea what is it, perhaps it is the chemical reaction of whatever chemical compound.  When you step on the sand, the sand would appear to be blue. It was so breathtaking. We did hear our tour guide saying that you will see people dancing at the beach to see the blue sand. At the first, we really didn’t get him, why those people have to dance in order to see the blue sand. Are they crazy, mind your image please. After that night, I knew it, they dance because the sand would only turn blue when a certain force exerted on it. Hence, to view large number of blue sand, people would step it rapidly, and they looked like dancing at the beach. LOL….. However, it turn blue for a wink of an eye. So, don’t ever blink your eyes when walking along the beach at night.

I knew it would be a very tiring trip for us. You see, ZZ is tired until fall a sleep. But this is really a good trip for me to release my stress also.

This trip is not only a channel for me to release my stress, and I am getting fear to lose this such beautiful place in the world as a result of human deterioration on this nature for development. I also could see there are a lot of human rubbish– plastic bottle along the path. I afraid this rubbish would destroy the creature of the island one day. Please conserve the world started today, don’t litter the rubbish around the environment. It is really eye-ache when there is a pile of rubbish, plastic bottle and plastic bag. Get rid of them in proper way. The best way is to implement 3R, but if you can’t, please throw them into the bin, the so-called rubbish bin, OK.

I herewith express my utmost gratitude to those litter the rubbish into the bin sincerely.

当时，有两位印裔朋友也捉着柱子，在我两旁谈天。不久，其中一位到站下车，而另位忽然开口问我：“你还在学校读书吗？”我的天啊！我听后太开心了，只不过疲惫已掩盖过我的兴奋，所以我脸无表情地告诉他，今天是我毕业后的第一天工作。可能是我脸上没笑容看来很生气似的，他向我道歉了。我对他说，其实我是很开心的，因为身边的朋友都说我看起来很老。
语毕，他笑了起来，很友善的和我聊起来了，我们也互相分享工作上的心得，在这短短的回家旅途中结交了一位朋友。重要的是，终于有人认为我年轻了。事后，我当然不忘与朋友分享这奇遇，推翻他们当年对我的议论。
其实，搭公共交通是既快乐又悠闲的。这奇遇，燃起了我对搭轻快铁的期待，希望也有人对我说：“你还是学生吗？”
因此，朋友，别再笑我老了。

To Lady Gaga, Recommendation for you.

I love reality shows. From American Idol, American Next Top Model to Amazing Race, all are my favourite reality shows. When people talk to me about Project Runway, I would tell them I don’t like it because I just found that I have a different view with the judges, and there is nothing special for their designs. All patterns are the same. Mostly designs are for ladies. So, I really don’t have the interested of watching it.

My friend would always say, ” how come you didn’t watch?!! I strongly recommend you to watch. I pretty sure you will like it.”

I said,” Zzzzzz…… I did watch before it but I really don’t like it. Don’t force me, OK? Forcing no happiness…”

However, my taste has been changed recently. I love watching Project Runway. Don’t you guys have notice or not, recently they launched the Project Runway All Star for Ex-Participants but not the winner lah. It is really open my eye. I like to watch their exaggerated design, sometimes just wonder what they are really emphasizes of, commercial or the sense of art? if I ask a lady to wear their design dress, I just wonder would they want to wear it at the street or not.

I love one of their episode with the theme of ” When I Get My Dress in Light.” In this episode, the designers were tasked with creating avant garde looks by using $100 in fabric and $300 of lighting technology. This episode definitely whittled down the field with a peculiar and interesting challenge. Pharrell Williams was invited to be guest judge for this episode. And I really don’t know he is ranked as the Best-Dressed Man in the world plus he is afashion designer as well because I know him as a rapper and singer even though his songs are not impressing me. (lol… sorry to his fans.)

However, this episode turned out to be climax in their runway show. (lol…. I think runway show is always the climax for each episode. But this episode really really impressed so so much.) I like their designs so much, I think it is really a good idea for getting the light on our dress. Here is their masterpiece. Applause please…..

Design 1 from Mondo:

Mondo’s design didn’t give me a big surprise. I think his design is laying at the safe zone. His dress with those light-up stripes down the sides of his model’s dress isn’t standing out among those other designs.

Design 2 from Michael Costello:

This dress is assimilated from the Japanese Ninja costume. It is a very good change for Ninja costume. It is really make me want to laugh. Michael is really one of the best designers among those. He can make a dress in just few hours. Can you image how a designer could make a complete dress in just simply few hours. I know it because my mother is a tailor. She always complains to me that it needs to take few days for making a dress. So, she always said she has chosen a wrong career path already. lol….

Design 3 from Jarell Scottas:

I wonder is it hawaiian costume, the so-called hula skirt. However, it doesn’t get the preference of the judges. He was eliminated in this episode. Jarell, don’t give up. I can see that you really have the talent in this field. It is a competition. Someone would be out eventually and to be the fifth finalist is really a best recognition.

Design 4 from Kenley Collins

It is one of my favourite dress. Actually, she is also one of my favourite designer too. Just like the judges said, her designs are really too kenley. Once you see her dress, you surely would know it is her design. Somehow, I just found that her designs are too gossip-girl style. This design has the shadow of Nicky Minaj also. Perhaps of  her pink short hair. lol…..

Design 5 from Austin Scarlett

It is the best dress ever. And he was titled as winner in this episode. According to Austin, he wanted to make this dress like an universe with clusters of stars. What’s a good idea!! And you make it. The stars represented by the light has increase  the mystery of the whole dress. It is very artistic. Congratulation, you have won the this episode challenge. Well done.

I just have an idea. I think that this theme of this episode is very suitable for Lady Gaga. Miss Gaga, you can employ them for fashion consultant. I hope you would like my idea. Perhaps this can be adapted into your new album. And I am looking forward to your new album. lol….

Do you know adjuster?

When I told people I was an adjuster, most of them surely came out a lot of question marks in their mind. Hence, this is the purpose I am writing this pertaining to the job scope of an adjuster.

Basically, the job description of a loss adjuster as below:

1. Upon receipt of instruction, contacts Insured’s representative promptly with a view of carrying out investigation of the loss.
2. Meets with the Insured to investigate circumstances of the loss to gather sufficient details to form definite opinions on the policy liability.
3. Carries out site investigations with sufficient details and accuracy to be able to establish accurate quantification of the loss. Enquires have to be made in sufficient  depth to establish involvement of a third party, assess legal responsibility and take measures to protect and initiate recovery action.
4. Arranges for the Insured to take action to protect undamaged or partially damaged property and other and other action in order to mitigate or contain the loss.
5. Arranges for the Insured to take action to protect property which may be subsequently disposed of as salvage. Promptly arrange salvage tenders in accordance with Insurer’s requirements and the Company’s procedures.
6. Provides guidelines to the Insured as to the processing and preparation of claim documentation.
7. Prepares preliminary, interim, final and addendum reports accurately and efficiently within the time frames required by the company.
8. Responds promptly and correctly to all written and verbal communications from the Insured’s and Insurer’s representatives within the time frame set by the company.
9. Documents progress of the claim in the claim files and any claim handling system which must be kept current within the time frame set by the company.
10. Prepares adjustment of claim submissions in a professional and ethical manner within the time frame required by the company.
11. Completes timesheets on files, expense recovery reports and other administrative duties required by the company within the set time frame.
12. Carries out any other specific duties allocated by Manager or SVP (Senior Vice President) or Managing Director/ Executive Director.

These are the job descriptions of a loss adjuster.

For my short working experience in this field, being a loss adjuster, you have to travel within an area once you get the assignment from the Insurance Company. So, you must have your own transport and for my former company, it is compulsory that you must have a car to travel. You might  immediately go to the site for investigation after contacting the Insured without any delay. For me, the most challenging part in this field is time management, as you have to travel frequently to the site for investigation and complete the report by the due date. To complete the report, it is not true that you could finish it after you visited the site. You have to get the completed documents related with loss from Insured. Sometimes, it is really frustrating to get the completed documents from them because you have to urge them to send those documents so that you could conclude the report and send it to Insurer. In this process, you would be very busy in dealing with this both parties. Apart from this, you will be questioned by both parties either Insurer or Insured if they don’t satisfy or having inquiry with the indemnity that you have proposed. Therefore, you must be an expert in insurance policy. Normally, those Insured won’t know the policy of insurance they bought and they only expect the insurance company would indemnify for their loss even though it doesn’t comply the policy. So, they surely will call you and voice out a lot of foul language if they are very unhappy with the result. Don’t worry, it is called life, you will cope with this one day after years in this field.

In this field, it indeed needs the profession such as lawyer, accountant, engineer and so on to deal with the loss claim as sometimes it needs their professional knowledges in handling the investigation of the loss claim. On the other hand, you have to equip yourself with the insurance knowledges by attending the insurance course and pass the examinations. Hence, despite you are professional lawyer, accountant or engineer, you are not titled as an adjuster even though you are being employed by an insurance adjusting firm unless you are passed a Basic Certificate Course in Insurance Loss Adjusting conducted by the Malaysian Insurance Institute.

There are few examinations you have to take in order to obtain the professional title as chartered loss adjuster like ACLA, ACILA and so on. Thus, it is definitely a long life-learning career.

If you like to travel shortly and challenging job, you are enthusiastic in insurance field  and don’t like being restricted by the office working hour plus you enjoy meeting people immensely, yes, don’t doubt, this is the career that you look for in your life span.

The days Working in KL

Since I am working in KL, I found that my boogie become more and more and more, the dust covered my face is getting thicker and thicker and thicker, the pimples bursting are getting frequent and frequent and frequent. What does it imply for? It implies that the air in KL is severely contaminated, the latter is indicated I am always a youngster because only teenager and adolescent before 20 years old will be actively getting pimples burst, right? Agree? Yes, I strongly agree with that.

Besides that, the other thing I want to mention here about KL is the traffic. It is so congested and overwhelming. Here honk, there honk, terribly contributing the sound pollution here. You will be honked if you are late to move your car when the light is turning to green. You can hear a continuous honk when a car is blocking the way at the cross-junction even though the traffic light of the path which the car is leading towards is red. So, every pedestrian will focus on the car blocking the way. You know, it was so embarrassing if I were the driver of that car. And they will  horn until the car is moving away. Fainted…. So it is not only making the driver to be embarrassed and it is also making everyone’s ears to be uncomfortable.

Well, my current job requires me to have my own car because I need to travel within Selangor and Seremban. But for the first 3 months, I don’t have to drive because I am underpaid and I am a trainee of the company. So, everyday, I just get to office by taking the public transport. As a result of the situation above I mentioned, it has been making me to be phobia to drive in KL. Plus, the route in KL is so messy and somehow once you are lost, you will get to the highway and you have to pay more for the tol. Furthermore, the parking paid here is absolutely and terribly high. If you are not the people here, you won’t know where is the cheaper parking rate at here. So, there is always a burden for a KL driving travellers.

Somehow, KL is not as bad as I mentioned above. The reason people like the KL is because it is the centre of entertainment and it is also the heaven of shopping if you are wealthy. However, I am a super poor and an underserved tiny guy in the KL area. Some people said, KL is also a best place to earn more money even though I don’t really agree with this. Yes, it can’t deny that the rate of the salary around KL is higher than other places. So what, the living cost there is super higher also. Hence, pro and cons, it finally go back to zero.

Anyway, my KL career will be end very soon in this month and finally I have released even though I have that keen to my current career in KL. Wasting the time on being stucked in the traffic jam would be very frustrating me. It is not a good idea to stay with this job. I always found that it would be faster to reach my destination if I am walking instead of driving. I am not going to say that I won’t come to this place to work forever. If there is a job which has a very good prospect plus I am not neccessary to travel too frequent within KL as well as it is a strategic place for getting the public transport and the salary enough for me to support my living, I definitely would came back.

Do you wish to have a Daddy like him?~~Dale Prince

Here is he. He is Dale Prince, another best daddy except your daddy and my daddy. He is well-known of his costume collections. I just found out his blog and his blog really makes my day. It is so entertaining me and I have never seen such a cutest and humour daddy in my life ever.

He is a daddy of three, a stay-at-home dad, raided the family’s Halloween costume collection, borrowed outfits from neighbours, and managed to spend under $50 over the year to make his son’s bus ride the highlight of the day.

On the first day of his son’s sophomore year of high school, his wife came running in the room and suggested to go wave at Rain to embarrass him. Actually, his main purpose of waving his son was just to make his teenage son smile on his first day of heading to school. However, his son would not forget the first day of his school and he was mortified when he peered out from bus window. Why? You will know the answer when you are looking at the pictures below.

OMG….. His costumes are so fantastic right? In the beginning, Rain was so embarrassed and begging his mum to stop his prank because the surprises kept coming from the following days and it was not the first day only. Over time, Rain’s most humbling moment became his most anticipated because it has turned into more entertaining. It was how did Rain’s friends feel too.

What would you feel if your daddy act like this, waving to you when you are boarding to the school bus? For me, I will definitely laugh until I am rolling on the ground. I would not care about how do my friends look at me. Who cares right? You have a free show to watch what!! And I don’t ask you to pay!! I think I would be more happy and craving for school everyday. HAHAHAHA…

So, to all the daddies in the world, try this way if your children are annoying for going to school. I strongly believe that this would change your children to become more keen to get to school.

Anyway, do you wish your daddy on the Fathers’ Day? Even though it has been one month after the day, it would be late if you have heart to show your love to your father. Hence, I want to grab this chance to wish all the daddies Happy Fathers Day. And I want to give this wish specially to my Daddy also. HAPPY HAPPY SUPERB FATHER DAY.

Chinese New Year 2012

It can’t deny that Chinese New Year is a special moment for reunion with your family and your friends.

On Chinese New Year Eve and the first two days of Chinese New Year, it is the time for my family. Nothing special for it. As usual, we were having a reunion dinner on chinese new year eve and visited to relatives’ house to get my favourite angpau. I did take the pictures with my family. However, for their privacy, I decided that I won’t post those pictures on here. (Hahaha).

It is a stressful and bad new year also because my exam is around the corner and I have to face all the notes and books for welcoming it.

Miss World 2011

The new Miss World 2011 was born on 6th November 2011. Here is she, the gorgeous, elegant, pretty Miss World of this year, Ivian Sarcos who from Venezuela. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hand together to welcome our Miss World 2011.

She is Ivian Sarcos who is a human resources graduate. Guys, try to guess how old she is!!

My first guess is 25 years old. But she is just 21 years old. Oh My Godness, she does look elder than me. She looks mature but she is pretty.  It is may be because of her life that has transformed her to be mature looking. For your information here, she is an orphan. Now, she is flying high as a phoenix. Congratulation for being crowned as Miss World 2011. You are deserved to get this title.

According to an article found in website, Venezuela is a country which has been appearing a lot of Miss World or Miss Universe for years. However, what I want to emphasis here is, her ambition is work with children. Wow, you see, how’s great of her ambition!! But, this is very blurred here. Does it mean that she want to be a kindergarten teacher or really work for charity?!! I have no idea with this. It is what I got and it doesn’t further more for this point. I just wish that her ambition is really what we were thought, which is very big.  Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Since she has become Miss World 2011, I think she has more chances to work for it. Miss Sarcos, I just hope that you can do your duty as Miss World eg World Peace.

It reminded me the movie of  ” Miss Congeniality” casting by Sandra Bullock. There is a very funny scene in this movie which is making me laughing out loud. All the candidates must claimed “World Peace” when they ended their answer in the querying section, and there must be following by a huge clap from the audiences except Sandra Bullock. Fortunately, she sensed that there is no clap from the audiences and she was managed to add “World Peace” before she finished. lol…..Ironically, there is following by a flow of non-stop clap from audiences. Then, I was non-stop laughing on this scene.

Lastly, I would be very appreciate her if she really brings the message of world peace to this world as well as the topic we concern recently—global warming. Congratulation again to you.
